2010 Stonewall Jets Training Camp

The 2010 Stonewall Jets training camp will open registration on Monday, September 6th @ 5 pm. The 1st on ice session will be the same night starting @ 7pm. The cost of training camp is $100.00. The cost includes a minimum of 3 ice times and an exhibition game. There will be no further costs until the team is picked.

All training camp dates will include an off-ice and on-ice component so bring suitable equipment for both.

Stonewall Jets add Assistant Coach, Kevin Campbell

The Stonewall Jets are pleased to announce that they have added Kevin Campbell to the coaching staff for the upcoming 2010-2011 season.

Kevin has played and coached at the Junior Level, most recently as coach of the Interlake Jr Lightning of the Winnipeg AAA Midget League.

Kevin is no stranger to hockey in the Interlake having been involved with its minor hockey, summer select, AAA and Junior teams for the past 10 years. Kevin’s knowledge of the area and its players will be a great asset to the Jets moving forward.

Stonewall Jets add Assistant Coach, Darren Wong

The Stonewall Jets are pleased to announce that they have added Darren Wong to the coaching staff for the upcoming 2010-2011 season.

Darren has played goal at both the Jr A and MMJHL levels. After he completed his junior career Darren has spend over ten years coaching at the AAA, High School and MMJHL levels.

Darren will work primarily with the Goaltenders and Defencemen for the upcoming season.

Assistant Coach Wanted

The Stonewall Jets of the Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League are looking to fill the position of Assistant Coach for the 2010-2011 Season.

As a hockey club we are looking to fill this position as soon as possible. All applicants should have played or coached at a high level of hockey to be considered.
